Glad to see that your website is up and running.  Wow!  There is so much informaiton.  I had no idea of just how crazy the laws are when it comes to children in the state of Florida.  I hope that readers feel the need to express their own situations, concerns, questions, etc.  and I'm sure that it will provide all of us with an opportunity to work on helping those in need.

Thanks for reading our site and posting your comments.  Florida laws are what govern this state and until people start standing up for what is right is when things may change.  However, like anything else it will take time.  Many people are faced with domestic situations that put our children at risk.  I know this first hand........

   Wow, I slightly remember him being bad news, but never did I think it went that far.    I read you entire story, and i'm passing on the word for you.  Unfortunately I feel that is all I can do.  I know you are circled around friends and thats good.  If there is anything I, or anyone can do, please ask.  I know me especially will try to do what I can.  My heart and thoughts go out to you.  I'll do my best to see the show on friday  What time does it air?

Thanks for your support!  I think the show will air at 10am in Florida.  Just listen for the title "A Father's Betrayal" .  It was definately an emotional show for  Rose and her daughter Haley, Patrick and Ron as well as myself.   It describes child abuse to it's fullest within families.  People don't realize how traumatizing life may be. ......and still is......for victims.  Again thanks for your thoughts and taking the time to read our story.  Have a wonderful day!

The state of Florida should step up to the plate and really look at your case.........I read the letters you sent to politicians and Gov. Bush.  I cannot believe this case was closed.......you were right about the animals!

I know that these Florida courts do not recognize emotional abuse as they should.  Children need to be protected and taught right from wrong.  Children do not need to be used and abused by their parents.  This man that you were involved with is sick and needs help.  What did his family do?  Did they help you and the children?  What did his family do after they heard the tapes?  I just listened to this on the Montel show and I am still in shock!!!  My heart goes out to you and your family!

I just read a blog from SMARTMOMMY1 and found the statements and questions to be quite interesting.  It states that the mother lost custody of her other child.  What child?  I thought the mother has custody of her two children.  The father did not loose his rights to these children so how could the mother?

Thank you for reading the forums and responding and all your emails.  Heather.....you commented on SMARTMOMMY1 comment in the blog and no I never lost custody of any of my children.  I have two children and both reside with me.  Woody's X girlfriend lost custody of her child, another boy, the only way anyone would know this information and assume I may be the parent of this child is if they are Department of Children & Families worker, or a United for Families worker who has the ability to look up our files which are very long and complicated.  One may easily be confused with our case since Woody has two other children with two other women.  However, my children have never been removed from my home.  As far as my using drugs ......I DO NOT USE DRUGS!!!  I have taken two drug tests for DCF as I stated in my opening letter.  As for parenting classes I have taken an eighteen week course through Castle Exchange Club.  However, all methods taught for parenting skills do not apply for my child who suffers from PTSD.  I also took a county test after the courses and received one of the highest scores in the county!  I  work with children myself....and deal with many types of children, and parents on a daily basis.  If anyone is reading confidential files on my family please make sure you know that my name is Jodi Walsh.......it will help clarify the info that you read since there is other children who belong to Edward Munao and the other mother you are referring to did loose custody of her son.

Thank you for your information, I thought I would pass it on.  You were mentioning that children can be used as weapons and it is not necissarily gender specific both mother's and father's can be "the bad guy" .  You were telling me about what others may refer to this as Parental Alienation Syndrome (PAS) , and others have also used the term Hostile Aggressive Parenting (HAP).    This is definately a phenomenom in our country and I agree with you it is child abuse pure and simple.  It is common for the children to identify highly with their abuser regardless of their gender.   In my case it was my children's fathers but mother's also do this with their children.  It is sad that children are used and abused in this way!

For those that this hits close to home , we need to have Courage not Fear of the unknown, just support and understanding. Yes, we all look back in anger, we did the best we could do, and have to try to forgive,to let go of the anger, towards ourselves and the abuser, but it is very hard to forget (ptsd) .

One may never forget the abuse or traumatic event that they have encountered or the pain they may have experienced.  ONE DAY AT A TIME...........it is in letting go that one may find inner peace.....but it is easier said than done......
